This great shop has the feeling of a European Boutique which is where the owners has found most of these wonderful vintage pieces. In the flea markets and secrets spots of France and Italy that the proprietors roam looking for these wonderful vintage pieces of fashion history.
This place is a history lesson on well-made survivors of the past but the good news is you can take your favorite piece de resistance home and wear them to your favorite haunt.
Ms. Vintage was open in 2008 on Abbott Kinney, a chic street in Venice, Ca. that sometimes becomes too edgy. The owner decided to upgrade to larger digs and found this sweet spot in Playa del Ray. Then they went on a huge shopping  spree trip knowing they had the space to indulge in their treasure trove space. Look up their fb page and make sure you get in the loop on what's new.

THIS IS A ONCE A YEAR EVENT IN HOLLYWOOD, CALIFORNIA, Where anyone and everyone can be a star and shout out how they really feel and express who that they would, could, can be and vintage has a big voice in their celebration of how they express themselves.

Yes only in Hollywood can you dress like a movie star and get applause from the crowd and protection from the police.

This is L.A. Pride Parade to be who you are and show it. These wonderful portraits are taken by my photographer friend Lisette M Azar, every picture is worth a thousand words.

Of course one of the best floats was by a great organization that is non-profit and benefitting AIDS Healthcare Foundation, and a great place to find vintage clothing.

She seems like a time traveler surrounded by amazing hats and dresses that are made with her heart and soul. This interesting woman born in a decade that denotes another time that had style, quality and taste as it’s core value. All her pieces made  by hand with the best quality lace and designed with a body conscious, sexy elegant allure that makes you feel all woman. As she speaks with her heavy Icelandic accent about her journey to this city of  angels her eyes light up with infectious enthusiasm. She had a store in downtown L.A. and has a shelf of trophies to prove it for Best Designer in L.A. But through unfortunate circumstance of city planning she had to close her shop but still is designing, creating new works and by appointment only, people come to her. She showed me an exclusive peek at a beautiful wedding dress commissioned to a celebrity getting married soon.WOW!! a red wedding dress.

She seems constantly on the move and her determination to enjoy life is shown in her Yoga/Tai-Chi/meditations regime that she practices everyday. She is International with followers in Italy, France, Madrid and her homeland Iceland.

Her pieces are one of a kind fashion statements that shout out, sexy, seductive, feminine that adorns the body and a look that will always remain classic.
